Feature ii. Feed strip through the bias maker.

iii. With the aid of a pin in the open slot, gently slide fabric forward. (Image 4)

For makers that include fusible, there is a slot on the flip side of tool allowing feed of the fusible tape. (Fusible tape could be cut and prepared by yourself, although Clover provides rolls of prepared fusible in varying sizes. If cutting it yourself, cut 1/8” strips from fusible web.)

iv. Press strip in place with a hot iron as it feeds through. (Image 5)

Bias Bars

Bias bars may be purchased in packages of varying sizes. Te bar gives support to the bias tube necessary for creating the finished strip.

For handy bias bars, consider flat stir sticks. Subway cafes have sticks with perfect sizing!
