Meal Planning Maven’s Favorite Pack ‘n Go Lunches
Craving Chili? Healthy canned chili (such as Amy’s) in a thermos. Add a garden salad, a handful of blue corn tortilla chips and a peach. What could be easier?
Classic American! Tuna fish sandwich on multi-grain bread with chopped red onion and celery, lettuce and tomato and a tangerine.
Salad in a Flash! Huge garden salad with tons of veggies, topped with leftover sliced steak. Add an apple for the crunch factor.
Vegetarian Yum! Almond butter and sliced bananas, rolled up in a multi-grain tortilla. Add a baggie of cut-up veggies.
It’s a Wrap! Turkey slices, lots of veggies and Dijon mustard wrapped in a multi-grain tortilla. Add a pear.
Ultimate Comfort Lunch! Chicken salad with a load of veggies. Add a handful of blue corn tortilla chips and a bunch of grapes.
No Prep Lunch! Lentil and veggie soup in a thermos. Add a handful of multi-grain crackers plus a cup of melon chunks for “sweet.”
