the valiant 40/42 designed by Robert Perry is the most proven off shore sailing boat and was inducted into the American Sailboat Hall Of Fame in 1997. The low profile and extremely solid construction, along with sea kindly sailing characteristics, make the Valiant an excellent boat for seri- ous cruising.
