or Eddon Wherry enthusiasts! Come by boat or by car to the Eddon Boatyard for the first Eddon Small Craft Gathering hosted by the non-profit Gig Harbor BoatShop. Join us from 10:00 am-5:00pm at the Eddon Boatyard located on Gig Harbor's working waterfront. Eddon small craft represent an important boat building legacy for our region, and the Gig Harbor BoatShop looks forward to having the boats come home. The day will include on-the-water activities and tours of the historic boatyard. Eddon Small Craft artifacts will be on display as well as Thunderbird Sailboat #2, which is currently being restored. Wooden Boat Festival June 4-5


The Bainbridge Island Wooden Boat


Festival is a weekend celebration of the Island’s distinguished history of wooden boat building, design and preservation. Created to pay homage to Bainbridge Island’s legacy of unique wooden boat craftsmanship, the weekend will be the Island’s first assemblage of wooden boat enthusiasts. Tour the boats, hear the sea stories, the music and a lively session of maritime lore as we display a memorable collection of wooden vessels of all types. Join us at the Harbour Pub Marina to meet the owners, builders, designers and assorted characters from our island’s treasured wooden boat community. Joined by the Bainbridge Island


Historical Society, and a gathering of Pacific Northwest salts, the BIWBF will host a 30-40 boat selected fleet of sail, power, workboats and tender types. Hours: Saturday 10:00 am-5:00 pm,
