free Dinghy racing every summer in Olympia. The boat must be 20 feet or less in length and not have a fixed keel. We use the Portsmouth handicapping system so these are mixed fleet races. Our races start May 5 and run every other Thursday night all summer, and are open to anybody with even slight sailing skills. There is a boat launch at Swantown Marina. NW Catalina Regatta May 14

Sound would like to invite all Catalina sailboat sailors to participate in this year’s Northwest Catalina Regatta. The regatta is a non-flying sails event featuring three round-the-buoy races in Shilshole Bay. We encourage all Catalina sailors, regardless of racing experience, to participate. Following the day of racing, there will be a dinner and enjoyable activities at the Seattle Corinthian Yacht Club facilities located on “V” dock at the Shilshole Bay Marina.
