t is my great pleasure to introduce this special publication to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Incheon Airport.


Airports must excel in their service delivery as well as their business management. In today’s increasingly competitive aviation market, Incheon has demonstrated the ability to achieve the highest levels of quality and show that airport business delivery can be extraordinary not just ordinary.


Success in the airport business hinges on leadership and commitment, not just at the top of the executive ladder, but throughout the organisation. All staff members have been encouraged to develop their full potential and use that awareness and expertise to ensure that the operation runs smoothly and that the passenger enjoys the airport experience.


Incheon’s success can be attributed to the collective


efforts of each employee working together with their colleagues and their platform partners to achieve the highest standards.

company. With many ACI and other aviation industry awards bestowed on Incheon Airport, it is clear that the airport listens to and caters to its customers’

I have had many opportunities as director general of ACI


World to work alongside representatives from Incheon. Through participation in ACI’s committees and World Governing and Regional Boards, they contribute to our collective efforts to enhance performance excellence. Incheon Airport’s support for ACI training and seminars, as well as for our many events worldwide and in the Asia Pacific region, demonstrates their willingness to work alongside their many airport colleagues around the globe.


By sharing their knowledge and best practices, they promote safe, secure and sustainable airport operations both at home and abroad.


At Incheon Airport, they set the bar very high 10 years


ago. Today, that entity has matured to become a top performer, never losing sight of the importance of delivering customer service excellence. I offer my warm congratulations to Incheon and salute you in this milestone year for a job well done.
