TALK Big

New Years Resolutions That Will

Blatently Never Stick! 1. Stop drinking. Broken be- fore you can even start trying!

2. Joining the gym. You go for the first month or two (if that!)

then decide that walking 5mins to the chip shop is JUST as good exercise.

3. Quit smoking. Always mean to do it, yet is it going to hap-

pen this year? Probably not...

4. That diet you’ve been mean- ing to go on for a few years now, but always break when the smell of bacon wafts past you.

5. Spend less money. Sounds pretty easy... but then the

temptations of the January sales just reel you back in!

GOOD NEWS 50 Cent makes an easy $8.7 million via twitter

Rapper turned business man 50 Cent has revealed he has made $8.7 million from shilling a market company on social networking website Twitter. Already releasing the fragrance Pure RGX Body Spray, his own brand of vitamin water Formula 50, his own sneakers with Reebok and his own line of condoms called Magic Stick Condoms, money isn’t exactly tight for the G-Unit star. 50 Cent recommended his followers buy shares in a company called H&H, which houses a marketing firm called TV Goods. This helped the stock rise dramatically, Fiddy is a smart lad!

Arctic Monkeys’ new album underway

Arctic Monkeys are in the studio and working on their fourth album. The boys from Sheffield are going to be working with Simian Mobile Disco DJ James Ford. There won’t be any nervous jitters when they come together as James co-produced their previous album Humbug with the Queen’s Of The Stone Age front man, Josh Hom- me. Still unsure of when the release date will be set, Alex Turner and co. have stated they have a few songs already written for the next record. Let’s hope the album comes out sooner rather than later.

Jason Derulo makes a mean bowl of cereal

Good old Jason Derulo knows how to impress the ladies by saying he is hopeless in the kitchen so will offer a lady friend some cereal instead. Quoting the R’n’B star, “It’s my favourite meal, it’s so good. I like all kinds; Cinnamon Toast Cruch, Golden Grahams, Lucky Charms. Cheerios are boring, so are Cornflakes.” He certainly has a wide range of cuisine to choose from but apparently it’s enough energy for him to perform and make music. So who are we to argue!
