HE annual Silvermaniac Qualifier and Final took place at Stafford Moor over

day’s success, 5 on Tanners, and made no mistake, fishing the same rigs and method as the day before to take 48-7-0 of skimmers and the top prize of £2,000. Ian also won this event two years ago. Last year’s winner Des Shipp (Daiwa Dorking) had to settle for second this


time with 36-6-0 of skimmers and roach on pole with worm and caster over groundbait. Giles Cochrane took third with 34-5-0 and Steve Warner (Sensas) was fourth with 31-8-0.
