EntaTech rocks out with Mad Catz Distie stocks up on new musical peripheral range to complement its first ever gaming software

ENTATECH is now stocking a host of official Rock Band 3 instrument controllers to cater to demand for the recently-launched game. The range, made by peripherals
specialist Mad Catz, includes a guitar, drum kit, microphone and keyboard. Each of the devices comes in a number of versions to ensure compatibility with PlayStation 3, Wii or Xbox 360. The guitar contains an auto- calibration sensor to easily sync to any type of TV. An improved strum bar provides greater precision, while the fret buttons are faster, quieter and smoother than ever. An extra set of buttons allow the user to finger tap solos. The drums, meanwhile, include four durable drum pads, a metal-reinforced kick pedal, adjustable-height stand and two authentic wooden drumsticks. The cymbals are colour coded for crash, ride and hi-hat, and are velocity sensitive. The keyboard features a two-octave design with 25 velocity-sensitive keys and allows users to play real keyboard parts when playing in ‘pro mode’. A strap comes included, and the device can be used as a midi keyboard when not playing Rock Band. EntaTech is also offering the game
itself for Playstation 3, Wii and Xbox 360, as part of a bundle with the keyboard. The Rock Band series of games allows up to four players to simulate performing popular rock songs by playing the various instrument-style controllers. Jon Atherton, EntaTech’s commercial
