Imagine’s Hennessey joins EA’s PR team Play editor becomes EA Sports publicist  Sumo Digital promotes Millard  Just Add Water hires two


EA  KEITH HENNESSEY has joined EA’s PR team as EA Sports publicist.


Hennessey leaves Imagine Publishing where he has worked as editor of Play and NowGamer.com for the specialist publisher.


He will work closely with specialist games media, provide support to EA’s PR agencies and create editorial opportunities for EA Sports. “Keith is both liked and highly respected in the industry and he will be a great addition to the UK PR team,” says EA Sports senior PR manager SHAUN WHITE.


Hennessey is the former editor of Play and NowGamer.com


Hennessey added: “I'm really pleased to be joining the EA Sports PR team. I'm hoping to use my specialist experience to help strengthen the company and its PR division’s impeccable industry reputation.”


SUMO DIGITAL  The developer has promoted SEAN MILLARD to its new role of creative director.


Millard will collaborate with external partners and oversee the design on all upcoming games. He joined Sheffield- based Sumo Digital in 2003 as


lead designer following stints at Infogrames, Pure Entertainment and Virgin Interactive. He most recently oversaw development of the free-to-play Doctor Who: The Adventure Games on PC. “Sean’s respect for brands and his creative ability to bring them to life will ensure that Sumo continues to deliver the best possible game


experience,” said Sumo Digital studio head PAUL PORTER. Millard added: “I hope to amplify those qualities which have established Sumo as one of the most sought-after game developers in Europe.”
