Activeion management, most of whom were part of the founding core of the company, fully support and are engaged in the process of innovation. We are a small, recently created company and innovation permeates our leaders’ mentality and attitude, and our corporate culture. Our US General Manager, who also plays a role in global marketing initiatives for the company, is himself a lawyer with an engineering background and spearheads, with the inventor, all the research and development. The CEO is an experienced executive who previously made his mark in innovative consumer and sales approaches including sales channel innovativeness, e-commerce and the internet. Our European General Manager comes from an international distribution and logistics background with a strong track record for change in the way companies sell and ship their goods. Our UK based Business Development Manager is a cleaning industry veteran with a penchant for green and a love of changing organizations through clever purchasing and fulfillment. So in a nut shell, Activeion


management and staff live in a constant world of change. Being innovators or creators of innovative products means we have to all be innovators ourselves. We are agents or ambassadors of change, not just in what we offer outside Activeion, but also how we live, think, behave and produce within Activeion. Being a small company means executives and other employees all do a little bit of everything, and thus play an inherent part in key decisions even outside the traditional box or definition of their jobs or job descriptions. This element of human resource cross-fertilisation allows us to encourage, recognise and focus on innovation in our day to day working environment.


New solutions, clever ideas and a different way to look at things within the company matches the way in which we are asking the cleaning world, facility managers or other people engaged in cleaning, “to look at cleaning from a different perspective”. As said earlier, Activeion’s technology and products are about change as much as our company too is about change. Unlike other older or stodgier firms who ache through change and have to learn how to manage change, we have sort of dealt with change naturally since the day our inventor and core founders’ group set up the company. The passion within and outside the company has been key, as well as the


energy, speed and focus to operate efficiently and quickly, at “Activeion pace”, keeping the firm visible to others. The different way or perspective of looking at cleaning is unique, and we hope to invite more people to this new consideration and to continue to introduce other versions or products in the years to come.


CARBON REDUCTION COMMITMENT The impact of Activeion includes major reduction in the quantity of chemicals toxic to human beings dispersed in workplaces during cleaning; reduction in use of oil-derived cleaning chemicals; reduction in quantity of pathogens on surfaces in kitchens, washrooms tables, office furniture and equipment, work surfaces, etc. where the ionator EXP is used for cleaning; reduction in time required for training, mixing, storing, managing, etc. other chemical products and their usage; reduction in carbon footprint; and reduction in harmful water waste after spray. Since it uses only normal tap water which has been ionised


and returns to its normal state 45-60 seconds after being sprayed, the ionator EXP leaves zero residue. The University of Tennessee/EcoForm performed a carbon footprint analysis comparing cleaning with Activeion to cleaning with traditional general-purpose chemicals. The study found that Activeion products reduce energy consumption and pollution formation between 97 percent and 100 percent across seven key indicators of environmental sustainability: energy, greenhouse warming gases, ozone, smog, acid, eutrophication and particulate.


Specifically, the environmental benefits of switching to Activeion products include: 97% less acid rain, 99% less global warming, 100% less water pollution, 99% less ozone depletion, 99% less smog, 99% less energy consumption and 98% less air pollution (according to a 2009 University of Tennessee/EcoForm carbon footprint analysis with Activeion versus general purpose cleaning chemicals).
