EssentialProducts MORE FAIRTRADE TREATS
Peros is widening its selection of exclusive Fairtrade bakery products with the launch of three new lines into the One World portfolio. There is a range of three Cupcakes (chocolate, lemon and strawberry), two American Chewy Cookies (White Choc Chip with Belgian Chocolate and Dark Choc Chip with Belgian Chocolate) and an assortment pack of Mini Muffins (containing chocolate, blueberry, toffee and lemon flavours). In common with the rest of the One World range, these new products offer resellers in the café/coffee shop market a handy value-added opportunity for additional sales either as a stand-alone snack or as a complement to a hot beverage. Ranges are wrapped in distinctive, eye-catching packaging, with point-of-sale material and display stands also available. Produced in the UK by specialist artisan bakers, these ranges use a variety of Fairtrade ingredients from around the world including sugar, chocolate and fruit. SOFA SO GOOD
The new D-Line modular bench system from GO IN utilises wall space efficiently and offers a more comfortable alternative to chairs, without the time-consuming process of setting up a permanent sofa system. The system is extremely flexible, says the company, allowing operators to plan, construct and rearrange their own configurations quickly and easily. Key to the D-Line's versatility is its new connection system, allowing modules to be linked and separated quickly and simply. Individual modules can be used to
make straight bench lengths or used for corner and niche solutions. D-Line modules are relatively shallow at 60cm, but provide a full 45cm seat depth, giving comfortable seating from a small footprint. Upholstered elements are covered in practical imitation leather available in a wide range of colours. To match different décor, alternative feet styles can be specified - square metal or round wood.

WATER ON DEMAND
The latest addition to Instanta's UCD under counter water boiler range is the UCD12, capable of producing up to 168 cups (28 litres) of hot water an hour. The compact 540mm(h) x 360mm(w) x 415mm(d) boiler sits out of sight, with just the not-unattractive chrome and stainless steel push button font on display on the counter-top. The unit can be programmed to deliver either a measured amount of water, or water on demand, as desired. After the initial 35 minute heat up period, the water is kept at a constant 95 deg.C, but can be reduced down to 80 deg.C as necessary. Designed with a host of safety features, including minimal steam escape, the UCD12 has four water level sensors, early warning intelligent diagnostics with an LCD read out, and a safety cut-out device on the overflow and element. A stainless steel drip tray on the font keeps the counter clean and tidy.
