Pilot a Radio-Controlled Airplane Receive an overview of getting started in radio-con- trolled flying: the types of planes available, the radio frequencies, fuels, engines, and training and insur- ance requirements. Final session will take place at the VFSS flying field. Students will fly a radio-con- trolled plane with a “buddy box” allowing a certified flight instructor to share control of the plane.
