The historic Downers Grove Golf Club, now a 9-hole par-36 course, was established in 1892 by legendary golf figure Charles Blair Macdonald. With four sets of tees, this scenic course offers a challenging, yet playable, golf experience for all skill levels. Yardages for the par-36 course range from 3,280 from the back tees to 2,515 from the forward tees. The course is open to all golf enthusiasts thirteen years of age or older. Younger golfers ages eight and older are welcome to play on a daily basis when accompanied by an adult.
Resident Discount For an annual $10 fee, residents of the Downers Grove Park District qualify for a Resident Discount Pass which entitles the pass holder to a resident greens fee discounted from the regular golf fee. Resident members age 22 years or younger and 62 years or older are eligible for additional reduced greens fees. These discounts apply to the pass holder only. Residents who opt not to purchase the Resident Discount Pass are NOT eligible for resident fees.

INTRAMURAL GOLF
Exclusive four-week program for O’Neill, Herrick, St. Joseph and St. Mary middle school students to learn golf with instruction on the basics of the golf swing, golf etiquette, putting and play. Junior golfers attend a lesson and orientation followed by three supervised rounds of golf. Orientation is Friday, September 10 from 4:00 - 5:30 pm.
