HISTORIC COMPANY’S IMPRESSIVE PORTFOLIO SPANS THE NORTH

A

lthough its roots go all the way back to the 19th century, commercial property provider John Livingston (Estates) Limited is now bigger and stronger than ever. Part of the John Livingston Group of Companies founded in Middlesbrough in 1853, the independent, family-owned firm continues to be one of the North East’s leading providers of leasehold and rented properties to the commercial sector. All the properties it owns, leases and manages are industrial buildings, some tailored specifically for engineering manufacturing and most offering electric overhead travelling cranes and high access doors.

Its impressive portfolio spans the

country from east to west. On Teesside, it includes a small trading estate in Boathouse Lane, Stockton-on-Tees, with units ranging from 8,000 to 32,000 sq.ft. Among the benefits of the site is the ample parking space available.

There are additional Teesside units in Bowesfield Crescent, Stockton, North Ormesby Road, Middlesbrough, Dockside Road on the south bank of the River Tees and a major facility within Skippers Lane

Industrial Estate in east Middlesbrough. Fairfield Industrial Park, on the south bank of the River Tyne, comprises some 18 acres with 46 separate industrial units, as well as furnished offices available from just £100 per month. Once again, there is extensive secure parking. Across on the west coast, John Livingston owns a 12,500 sq.ft unit with overhead travelling cranes in the Port of Heysham, Lancashire, along with additional land available for expansion and industrial development, all offering access to direct shipping routes to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the Isle of Man. Chairman and chief executive Bernard Ord says John Livingston’s extensive range of properties are perfectly placed to service a wide variety of industrial requirements. “One of our Stockton sites has a 40-ton capacity overhead travelling crane which is, in our experience, unique in a building available for rent or storage,” said Mr Ord. “We can also provide spacious and flexible storage solutions at our industrial estate on Teesside and Tyneside for the storage of containers or completed and part-completed structures that need to be

kept off-site ready for installation. “We’re

always open to discussions as to how we can best be of service to existing and prospective tenants and any enquiries would be most welcome. “We are also

constantly looking to add further high- quality assets to our portfolio and would like

to hear in confidence from anyone who has suitable industrial sites, especially those offering overhead travelling cranage.” For more information call Mr Ord on 01642 227741 or email bjord@fairfieldindustries.co.uk.
