Steph’s Packed Lunch – Channel 4 Expectation and Can Can Productions have been commissioned to continue making weekday lunchtime show Steph’s Packed Lunch for Channel 4 through 2022. The executive producers are Rebecca Papworth for Can Can Productions and Ben Wicks for Expectation. Jayne Stanger is commissioning editor for Channel 4.


Gregg Wallace Christmas specials - Channel 5 Rumpus Media has been commissioned to make two Christmas specials for Channel 5 featuring TV presenter Gregg Wallace experiencing the festive traditions and activities from Lapland and Copenhagen. The two specials have been commissioned by Daniel Pearl at Channel 5 and will be Executive Produced by Fintan Maguire and Chris Parkin at Rumpus.


The Great British Bake Off – Channel 4 Channel 4 and Love Productions have agreed to extend the license of The Great British Bake Off for a further three years until 2024.


Celebrity Cooking School – E4 E4 has ordered Celebrity Cookery School, “dropping a group of self-confessed, oven-shy celebs into the dining deep end.” It is co- produced by Sony Pictures Television’s Electric Ray and Motion Content Group. The 8X60’ series is exec produced by Meredith Chambers for Electric Ray and Martin Oxley for Motion Content Group. It was commissioned for E4 by Vivienne Molokwu, Mel Bezalel and Karl Warner.


Craig Charles: UFO Conspiracies - Sky History A+E Networks UK has commissioned Firecracker Films to make a show following Craig Charles and astrophysicist Sarah Cruddas as they scrutinise evidence relating to UFO encounters. The series has been commissioned by Dan Korn, VP of Programming at A+E Networks UK, and Diana Carter, Commissioning Editor and Head of Talent at A+E Networks UK. The executive producer for Firecracker Films is Sam Emmery, with Jes Wilkins as Chief Creative Officer. Michelle Horton is series producer and Julie Scott is production executive.


Studios and Motion Content Group. Executive Producers for Daisybeck Studios are Paul Stead and Matt Walton, and Executive Producer for Motion Content Group is Melanie Darlaston.


Fifth Gear Recharged - Discovery Car show Fifth Gear, produced by all3media indie North One, is to transform into an electric car show, Fifth Gear Recharged. Fifth Gear Recharged was ordered for discovery+ by Simon Downing and commissioned by Victoria Noble. Richard Pearson was Executive Producer at North One.


The Traitors – BBC1, Peacock The BBC and NBCUniversal have ordered a British and a US version of the hit Dutch psychological adventure format The Traitors in which contestants in the game move into a majestic castle and work as a team to complete a series of dramatic and challenging missions Studio Lambert’s creative director Tim Harcourt and deputy creative director Mike Cotton will oversee production of both UK and US versions. Toni Ireland will be showrunning and Abi Brooks is the production executive. Studio Lambert US’s EVP Jack Burgess will serve as an executive producer on the US version. Sharon Vuong will oversee for NBCUniversal. Neil McCallum is the Commissioning Editor for the BBC.


COMEDY AND ENTERTAINMENT


Susan Calman’s Antiques Adventure – Channel 5 Channel 5 has greenlit Susan Calman’s Antiques Adventure, a 5 x 60’ series produced by Leeds- based True North. Julie Beanland will be serving as Executive Producer. The series was ordered by Channel 5 Commissioning Editor Dan Louw.


Secret Spenders – Channel South Shore’s consumer format Secret Spenders has been recommissioned by Channel 4 for a full series to be broadcast in Spring 2022. It will be made from South Shore’s regional base in Cardiff. Adam Vandermark from Channel 4 handled the commission.


Bidding Wars – Channel 4 A 15-part daytime series from Leeds-based production company Daisybeck Studios and Motion Content Group about entrepreneurs reselling retail returns. It was commissioned by Jayne Stanger, commissioning editor, Daytime & Features. It is co-produced by Daisybeck


LIVE Joe Lycett: Mummy’s Big Christmas Do! - Channel 4 Produced by Rumpus, the live show will feature special guests, musical performances and stand-up comedy. It was commissioned by Phil Harris and Steve Handley at Channel 4. A Rumpus Media co-production with My Options Were Limited; the Executive Producers are Emily Hudd and Iain Wimbush and the Series Producer is Alan Thorpe.


Virtually Impossible – YouTube Stellify Media has partnered with YouTuber Joe Sugg and his production company Final Straw Productions, to produce a brand new VR game show, Virtually Impossible, that will launch on Sugg’s YouTube channel


Unapologetic – Channel 4 SBTV and Cardiff Productions’ late-night topical discussion show Unapologetic has been given a series order by Channel 4.It was initially commissioned as part of the broadcaster’s
