impact on the “mainstream creative post services but it is becoming a useful tool in the functional services that are needed.” Envy similarly thinks “AI Technology
could save time and optimise processes and tasks which could increase productivity and operational efficiencies.” Cinelab expects “to see AI providing image analysis for both new productions and archive to aid the post production process.” Evolutions sees a use for “accurate
auto-transcription, automated transcode paths, facial recognition software applications. All beneficial to production workflows and are lights off services driving revenue outside of our core facilities.” The Nest says: “we are already
using web-based AI for testing and QC, bring it on!” AI helps “offload slow and boring
tasks, making things faster as we are free to focus on creativity,” says The Finish Line. And that can only be a good thing.
