SURVEY


Every post house in the Facilities 50 can vote for the rivals they admire. Here we run through the top ten most voted for companies and show some of the reasons they get the thumbs up

FRAMESTORE It’s yet another year at the top of the Peer Poll for Framestore with rival companies praising its “amazing staff development programmes and contribution to the wider industry.” Others point to its “beautiful character work ” describing it as a “powerhouse of VFX ” and say it is a “benchmark for growth, I admire all they have achieved, and the standards they hold.”


04 FIFTY FIFTY It’s a leap up the Peer Poll this time for Fifty Fifty from tenth to fourth with rivals praising its “good attitude,” and “company culture” and “great team.” Others say they are “impressed with their growth physically and into scripted. Impressive leadership.” While others say, “they’ve built their company up and adapted over the years, keeping the boutique element.”


07= COFFEE + TV Coffee & TV jumps into the Peer Poll top ten this time, placing joint seventh. Many votes are sent Coffee & TV’s way because of the company’s ethos, with its rivals saying of it “they look after their staff” Others simply say they are a “nice bunch of people.” while others praise it for “being a Net Zero facility and trailblazers for sustainable ways of working, whilst delivering excellent content.”

ENVY In at second again this year in the Peer Poll is Envy with its admirers pointing to its “market leading innovation” with one admirer saying “the Envy app is genius!” Others look to its “outstanding service” and for having a “good balance of quality of work and value for money.” Others cite Envy’s ability to work across a “broad range of genres” and for being “very profitable.”


05= HALO Halo gets a fifth place in the Peer Poll this year after placing seventh last time. Its voters pick Halo out for its “personal approach to business” with others saying it is “very collaborative ” praising its “wide spectrum, including high end feature films.” Others describe it simply as having “top class facilities and talent” and a “talented and knowledgeable team delivering high quality output time and again.”


07= FILMS AT 59 “They constantly demonstrate that high-end post doesn’t need to be rooted in Soho” is the reason one voter picks out Bristol’s Films at 59 for praise. Others say of the company “they produce extremely high calibre work” and along with its “vast roster of amazing work” the company is made up of “dedicated nice people” who provide a “great personal service.”

THE FARM Also in at second this time in the Peer Poll is The Farm. Rival companies praise it for its “scale of infrastructure” and “growing footprint” as well as its “presence in the industry.” Others say the post house continues “to be a market leader and they have some of the best creatives in town” while others say “they have always been very agile and I expect them to continue to be so.”


05= TIME BASED ARTS In at joint fifth position in the Facilities 50 Peer Poll this time is Time Based Arts with its admirers pointing to its “brave, bold vfx work, expertly executed” The company’s “great work & attention to detail” also secures it votes from its rivals. Others say it “feels like they always put the creative first, which is how it should be.”


07= THE MILL The Mill also places seventh in this year’s Peer Poll with voters admiring the company’s “scope of work (in VR and AR) ” and its “talent development” as well as the sheer “consistency of amazing work” that the company produces across a range of markets. Others admire The Mill’s “global reach” but also its moves towards becoming a B Corporation.


07= MPC Also voted in at seventh place in this year’s Facilities 50 Peer Poll is MPC. MPC’s admirers praise the company for its “consistently good work.” Other voters point to MPC’s sheer scale as a thing to admire looking to its “size and quality of work” and the “size of jobs” that it works on. Voters also point to its work on the standout ad of the recent past, Burberry Festive.
