Playing well together is also the defining theme of the burgeoning world of esports, where you’d be as likely to find an FS4 frame synchroniser and converter as a gaming headset in a professional arena. While the Unreal Engine from Epic Games - which enjoys a second life as the power behind virtually all studios in live broadcasting - always ships with a dedicated plug-in supporting SDI video and audio for AJA’s Corvid and KONA I/O cards. Meanwhile as the pandemic had made remote presenters of us all, so the tiny U-TAP device allows professionals
on the move or at home to quickly output from a camera feed to a computer and contribute to live productions, streaming up to 1080p 60 with automatic video scaling and aspect ratio.
