the Peer Poll for Framestore with rival companies describing it as a “beacon for fabulous UK work worldwide” that is widely admired for its “R&D and creativity” its “ingenuity” and its “amazing projects across film, TV, immersive and advertising” its “top quality creative output” and its “consistently brilliant CG work.”

ENVY In at second this time in the Peer


Poll is Envy with its admirers pointing to its “continued growth whilst retaining a high level of service and quality” with others pointing to the breadth of its work “across a broad range of content types from features to episodic and documentaries” and its “commercials concentration in addition to broadcast.”


BASED ARTS Time Based Arts is feted by rivals due to its “cutting edge creativity” and its “quality of output.” Others vote for the company because of its “fantastic attention to detail. All their projects look like they have really bought something to the final result.” And others say the “focus is in the right place, on the creativity and quality of output.”


07= FILMS AT 59 In at joint seventh in the Peer Poll is


Bristol’s Films at 59. Rival companies pick it out because its “variety and quality of work and genres always impresses.” Others say the company has “nice people with a strong regional brand and loyal clients” while others say its “quality of work is second to none and approach and friendliness is a real tonic in a sometimes cutthroat sector.”


05 THE MILL It’s fifth place in the Peer Poll


this year for The Mill with its rival companies describing it as the “leader in their field for commercials.” Others pick it out because it “continues to generate great work and volume” with other companies picking out its “talent and skill” along with its “commerciality and business acumen.”


07= GOLDCREST Goldcrest’s voters are “impressed


by the standard of their work” and say of the company that it “continues to move forward into HETV and has amazing in house talent.” Other rival facilities say Goldcrest is one of the “biggest privately owned boutique facilities in the UK. Very talent driven.” With others admiring it for “the best audio facilities in Soho for feature film mixing.”

THE FARM At equal third is The Farm. Rival


companies praise The Farm for “its presence in the industry” and for being “huge and reliable.” Others pick the post house out for its “quality of work, clever people and history” while others say that it “continues to invest to stay at the forefront of technology and is always somewhere we look to, to see what is current in the industry.”


06 MPC In at sixth in the Facilities 50


Peer Poll this time is MPC with its admirers pointing to its “size and ability to take on large projects.” The company’s feature work is also picked out with other facilities saying that MPC is “leading in their field for film” with others also pointing to the company “for their grading and film work”


07= HALO Halo places seventh in this year’s


Peer Poll with voters pointing to its “cross-genre post production” and its “wide spectrum, including high end features.” Others pick out Halo for its ethos calling it “honest and open” and say the “team are great at adapting to changes and challenges.” and “deliver amazing programming yet retain a SME business approach.”

UNTOLD STUDIOS Three facilities share equal tenth in this year’s Peer Poll. Fifty Fifty is described as a “boutique facility offering high end post solutions” with a “great team.” Rivals say Molinare is a “45 year old stalwart of the post industry that continues to reinvent and adapt.” And Untold is noted as “a modern vfx company producing an extremely high level of work.”
