feeling the impact of the virus, known as COVID- 19, as the country shifts to remote working, social distancing and managing the latest measures to impede the spread of the pandemic. The Chamber is providing a range of initiatives


and support to help businesses navigate the challenging period, through the #KeepBusinessMoving campaign. Events have moved online as webinars, a daily


social networking hour #GBChamberChat has been launched (weekdays on Twitter, 11am-12pm) and the Chamber is regularly releasing new content and guides to help businesses adapt to this unprecedented environment. The Chamber has also been proactively


lobbying stakeholders with a 10-step plan for supporting businesses. The first webinar, as part of the Growth


Through People campaign, was a people mentoring and coaching masterclass delivered by Jo Rix from Chamber patron Curium Solutions. Henrietta Brealey, director of policy and


strategic relationships, said: “We hear daily from local businesses who are managing the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Government measures to contain it. “To our impacted members - we hear you.


This is hard, this is real and it is happening now. If there is anything else we can do to support you please do get in touch. “For many, while Covid-19 is keeping people
