Tracmaster launches Artio range
Tracmaster, which manufactures the Camon range of grounds care machinery, has now introduced the Artio range of attachments
which can be fitted to its own models and those of other makers. Designed and built at the company’s Burgess Hill headquarters,
the line-up includes a lawn scarifier, a buck rake for gathering hay and lightweight materials, a leveller/grader and a wheeled barrow.

Brendon Powerwashers showed its Quiet diesel Bowserwasher variant, which has a quoted sound pressure level average of below 78dBa at 1m. The company says demand for the machine is growing for use on inner city sites where the risk of noise has to be addressed. Powered by a Kubota Mini Series diesel engine, its cooling system
uses a combination of forced air and water cooling to eliminate the requirement for a conventional radiator, reducing the air inlet opening in the canopy. The soundproofed canopy is hinged to facilitate access to the main service components, and the engine has shutdown protection for low oil pressure, high coolant temperature, and low water and fuel level. Parts are interchangeable with those on the standard 200 bar, 15 litres per minute machine.

Tough YAK from Ready4Rent
A new addition to PSD Groundscare’s Ready4Rent range targeted at hire companies is the AS 1040 YAK, a four-wheel drive ride-on flail mower
designed for work on difficult terrain such as steep slopes. The flail mower assembly is 100cm-wide and PSD says that the
flails are less likely to be damaged than a rotary mower in the event of the machine encountering an unseen foreign object. A cruise control is incorporated along with an on-demand limited slip differential for enhanced traction.
