GSL SELECTS THE RUBBLE MASTER RM70 GO! 2.0 FROM RED KNIGHT 6
Digging It Groundworks expand their fleet via RK6 and Anaconda
Groundwork Solutions Limited (GSL), based in Canterbury, have updated their operations by purchasing a RUBBLE MASTER RM70 GO! 2.0 from Red Knight 6 (RK6), the appointed dealers for RUBBLE MASTER in the UK. GSL, providers of a range of ground work solutions to both residential and commercial customers, opted for the RUBBLE MASTER RM70 GO! 2.0 after a successful trial period. One of GSL’s main solutions is volumetric ready mixed concrete and screed and the ability of the RM70 GO! 2.0 to crush down to very small sizes gave them the ability to recycle their C&D concrete and use this in ancillary concrete mixes. This results in lowering their environmental footprint, as well as saving money on buying primary aggregate. “When the machine first arrived I was delighted at how compact it was and then seeing it in action I knew it was what we were looking for. The speed at which it crushed the C&D to the -40mm product that we needed was fantastic, it delivered more tonnes per hour and was half the footprint of our previous crusher,” said Wayne Cooper, director, GSL. Andover based hire and construction company Digging It Groundworks Ltd have taken delivery of a RUBBLE MASTER RM70 GO! impact crusher and an Anaconda DF514 Scalping Screen from Red Knight 6 Ltd, to add to their extensive hire fl eet.
Having had success in the hire and haulage industry providing excavators, dumpers, tele-handlers, tippers and grab lorries, the company added a RUBBLE MASTER RM70 GO! 2.0 impact crusher to their current fl eet. Shortly afterwards, Digging It added an Anaconda DF514 scalping screen to widen their application and customer base.
Ben Boare, MD of Digging It Groundworks, commented: “Ever since we purchased the Rubble Master RM70 GO! 2.0, we have expanded our customer base.
“New clients have included construction and demolition companies needing to recycle their waste on site, plus farmers, small developers and groundworks companies wanting to save money and create a product to re-use.
“After buying the crusher and some guidance from the guys at RK6, I decided to purchase the Anaconda DF514 screener. After a short demonstration, it was easy to see the benefi ts of this machine.
“I am producing Type 1 and 6F5 materials and able to provide screened crush at -6mm for the cement industry, and 10mm and 20mm stone for the concrete industry.
