WASTE RECYCLING

Coopers Recycling of Rugeley Invest In A New Neuenhauser Star Screen

COOPERS Recycling of Rugeley have recently invested in a new Neuenhauser star screen from sole UK dealer Riverside Machinery Ltd.

Following several visits to view existing applications, the decision was made to invest in a Neuenhauser star screen.

The purpose of the star screen in this application is to remove the dirt element from the waste stream, prior to being shredded for SRF. This allows for a high quality SRF to be made from the high speed shredder.

One of the main constraints was the space available. Due to the extremely small footprint of the Neuenhauser star screen, measuring only 3.8m x 1.8m, the working area of the site has not been restricted.

John O’Neill of Riverside Machinery commented: “Once again we have shown the Neuenhauser star screen to be the first choice for screening waste to be made into a valuable product - using a very small footprint.”
