PUP IDOL
FOUR-YEAR-OLD, Rita, is extremely calm- natured and named after a Beatles’
track. Residing at Buchanan Skip Hire, Livingston, Rita motivates company drivers, yard workers/machine operators and offi ce staff with her charm and wit, and mixes well with visitors too. She is a little too laid-back, but a pleasure to be around - isn't she lovely.
NEWS THAT BITES FROM OUR DOG- EARED
STAFFIES
11-MONTH OLD Buzz (RIGHT) is a dog with a good few new tricks up his sleeve. He has a huge taste for anything he can sink his teeth into, including sofas, and everything else! Buzz might be a big boned and clumsy, but defi nitely provides the brawn in his household. He spends most of his days on the lookout for food – he loves a massive plateful, and never leaves scraps in his giant sized bowl.
POOCH OF THE MONTH
THIS is cheeky two-year-old Ralph (LEFT), from Merthyr Borough Recycling Centre in South Wales. Ralph lets everybody who walks into the recycling centre know he means business. He is a keen recycler, helping to keep the offi ce tidy by shredding any boxes lying around.

STAR driver at C R Hales Ltd, Suff olk, is fun-loving animal, six- year-old westie Jess (RIGHT). She loves her new ‘wag+drag’ DAF, and likes nothing better than to drive with her head out of the window, so she can keep a close eye on what’s going on. The yard would just not be the same without her ever- so-pleasant presence and wagging tail.
