Following years of development, newly patented motion system technology by Dynamic Motion Rides now features in two attractions that opened in the USA in 2017
an emphasis on the infl uence and presence of the Bible in the nation’s capital. Guests lean in a semi-prone position as photorealistic CGI content takes them on a fl ight over Washington DC, showing them the sights with reference to biblical inscriptions. Technically, DyMoRides told Park World, the main challenges were the limited room height of only 5.7 meters and the limited fl oor loading capacity on the second fl oor of the building. “This attraction proves that even in a limited space a great fl ying experience can be achieved, providing you with enthusiastic and happy guests!” Due to the guest’s semi-prone position during the ride,
they experience the fl ight in a much more active way: shifting their weight from one foot to the other during the show to counteract the roll motion of the platform makes them actively participate in the experience.

s themed attractions continue to evolve, there has been a push to make the transition between reality and the attraction a seamless
one, fully engrossing people into the storyline,” says Robert. Falcon’s Creative Group’s Suspended Theatre includes a custom, patented design called ‘Reveal Technology’. Guests sit in what appears to be a traditional motion simulator attraction, suspense builds, and suddenly they are pulled upward into a fully immersive, 8k-resolution domed theatre where they are rolled, pitched, and heaved while being completely surrounded by content and storytelling. The attraction was designed with high throughput in mind, scaling between three models: 66, 132 and 198 guests. Falcon’s Creative Group led the creative execution, including interior/exterior design, pre-show content, storytelling, and media production. The domed screen projection and cable-driven systems are put together by the projection and A/V pros at Kraftwerk Living Technologies,

and the ride manufacturing masters at Oceaneering Entertainment Systems respectively. “It was a tall task – designing a new attraction system for
a generation that was raised on the immersion level of virtual reality,” reveals Robert. “However, the Suspended Theatre’s ability to fully engross, surprise and thrill large numbers of guests at once, while never breaking that all-important immersion, is something we’re excited to see take off.”
