Blackpool Pleasure Beach crowned UK’s best amusement park

In addition, the famous

amusement park is also ranked as the third best in Europe, behind Disneyland Paris and Europa Park. In order to create the ranking,

Travel Circus looked at the top amusement parks in Europe in terms of ratings on their site, attractions, entrance fees and, most importantly, fun factor! On Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s

ranking, Travel Circus commented, “The Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the United Kingdom is one of the most traditional amusement parks in Europe: its history

dates back to 1896. To this day, it is regarded as a visitor magnet for the adrenaline junkies among the amusement park fans – after all, among the 38 attractions alone 10 roller coasters provide thrills.” Commenting on the news,

Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s managing director, Amanda Thompson OBE said, “I am thrilled that Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been ranked so highly by Travel Circus, not only in the UK but also against the best parks in Europe. The fact that a German website has ranked Blackpool Pleasure Beach so highly is very pleasing and shows that we really do have international appeal.”
