configuration – and often, countless meetings and discussions on what is the optimal point of operation.
Gamification around the betting and gaming offer will benefit greatly, CRM systems will become customer interaction systems while configuration and scheduling will be taken care of or replaced by in-time interaction triggered by AI, custom tailored to the strategy of an operator and the expectation of players.

By automating mundane tasks, we will see a surge in new, creative offerings for the gaming industry as a whole – a new dawn that we are working hard towards and are excited to experience very soon. John Chyriwsky: So far there has been a lot of talk about AI & Machine Learning, I think over this next year we are going to see the action. AI is set to supercharge personalisation, offering players tailored gaming experiences that feel like they’ve been created just for them. Machine Learning will automate operations to meet player demands instantly and accurately, lifting that whole player experience. Together, these technologies will transform how businesses engage with players and manage their own operations. This time next year, we won’t just be talking about how AI & ML have re-defined engagement, we’ll be experiencing it. Nick McDonald: I do think that AI will continue to grow and evolve in the next 12 months, especially as it becomes much more readily available to companies around the world.
On the flip side, however, I do think that companies will also need to become much more aware of the dynamics and risks associated with using publicly available AI systems and instead look to implement their own in-house solutions.

Unfortunately, I do think that security breaches will continue to be an issue across the iGaming space and in any digital-led industry, in fact. It’s likely that we will hear much more about this as technologies continue to evolve – as an industry, we should be focusing our attention on how to address this.
I also believe that there will be a much more rapid technological shift from companies utilising large Cloud Hyperscalers, and instead we’ll see more begin to use bare metal service providers and on-premises infrastructure to tackle more of the security risks, associated costs and connectivity issues.
