Editor’s comment

Hello and welcome to another issue of Casino International. Perhaps you’ve not noticed yet, but we’ve had a little bit of a face lift! Yes, after more than a decade, we’ve changed fonts, switched some of the colour choices and, er… probably some other things that I can’t remember asking for (I leave such decisions to designer Tania mostly!) What I do know, however, is

that we have a VERY busy issue for you this month. You’re only pages away from our cover story with Interblock, and beyond that you’ll find a great interview with BMM’s Martin Storm, our usual gathering of regional experts picking apart

everything from India to America, and then we have a tasty round up of some of the big hitters that visitors to G2E Asia can expect to bump into this year. Sharon Harris kicks off a two-part feature on the state of

employment in the USA – with part two coming next month (it’s a good one, so make sure you tune in to that). The big news, however, is the arrival of our new GIO captain, Rory

Kuypers, an annoyingly young man who appears to have the “skillz to pay the billz” (as the kids say, I imagine) so please join me in welcoming Rory to the Casino International family. I’m sure he’ll introduce himself in his own section, but please be sure to send him some welcoming messages. Other than that, the sun has finally made an appearance so I shall be working only at night, saving sunny daylight hours for sitting in the garden with a warm guitar in my lap and a cold beer in my hand.

Cheers!
