INDIAN GAMING 888bets Launches in Angola
888bets has been launched in the Angolan market thanks to the joint efforts of operator 888 and B2B igaming software supplier NE Group.
888Africa was originally set up to operate 888 brands in online betting and gaming markets across hand-picked regulated countries within Africa. Angolan sports bettors will now have seamless access to online sports betting.
For the first time in the country, Angolan
bettors will have the opportunity to experience the acclaimed Aviator crash- game on the platform. Hacksaw Gaming enters South African Market with Supabets
The deal will see Hacksaw Gaming’s titles introduced to South African customers via Supabets’ platform.
Hacksaw Gaming and Supabets have inked a new partnership. Off the back of this deal, players on Supabets’ platform now have access to a variety of Hacksaw games – a move that came into effect on 30 March 2024. This development marks Hacksaw Gaming’s first foray into the South African market. While South African iGaming is relatively new to the industry, the potential for growth and profitability is anticipated to be high. Currently, Hacksaw titles such as Chaos Crew, Wanted Dead or a Wild and The Bowery Boys are available to Supabets users.
Additionally, the partnership aims to expand the game portfolio to over 30 titles by August, with potential exclusive releases tailored for the South African audience as well.

Peermont Shuts Down Palacebet
Peermont has taken the decision to close its online sports betting and live games operation,
PalaceBet.As of midnight on Tuesday 16 April 2024 PalaceBet will no longer be accepting new registrations or deposits on current accounts.
Players with a positive money balance in their account can still bet or withdraw funds until 29 April 2024 (they will need to ensure FICA documentation is up to date for speedy transfers). Thereafter, all open bonuses will be cancelled and no further bets will be accepted. For sports betting, all unresulted bets will be cancelled and funds with be refunded.
Although no official announcement has been made by Peermont, speculation is that the decision to close the operation may be related to Sun International’s recent acquisition of Peermont. Sun International’s sportsbetting operation Sunbet forms a large part SI’s success and the decision may make commercial sense to roll Palacebet’s database into Sunbet’s operations.
