Focus on Illumination

For quick and easy graphic changes Diamond LED light boxes are 20mm deep with a 25cm aluminium snap frame front for quick and easy graphic changes. Brilliant illumination is generated by the 24v high brightness 3 chip LEDs that edge light the optically clear CNC engraved Acrylic with a graduated grid to produce totally even and shadow free illumination across the face, whatever the size. Hidden pre-drilled fi xing holes for wall mounting come as standard.

This 24v light box is manufactured to order in bespoke sizes up to 2500x1500mm in silver anodised, white or black/matte black frames. All light boxes have rounded metal corners that eliminate the sharpness generally associated with standard aluminium mitres. For Interior use only. Lead time is approximately 10 to 14 days from date of order.

A LED lightbox isn’t just a frame; it’s a fabric frame equipped with LED lighting. It adds more dimension, atmosphere, and a modern look. Additionally, they ensure that your message is clearly visible both in light and dark conditions. Fabric images displayed on a lightbox have the remarkable ability to enhance the work environment, transforming it into a more vibrant and inspiring space. The combination of fabric’s tactile appeal and the illuminated backdrop creates a captivating visual experience that positively impacts productivity and creativity. A tension fabric image can be illuminated in a couple of ways: edge-lit, backlit. Each method comes with its own, internally mounted drivers, test certifi cate, and is CE-certifi ed. The location and installation method mainly determines which LED technology is most suitable.

Edge-lit (side lighting) An illuminated circle

The price-quality ratio of edge-lit is excellent. The maximum span of the two opposing LED sides is about three metres. The illumination is good but cannot be compared to backlighting in terms of light output. The energy consumption is low. A major advantage is that the frame components can be shipped as a fl at package and you can also illuminate two sides of a frame. A 90mm wide profi le is possible, but EFKA recommends a frame depth of at least 120mm, as the deeper the frame, the better the spread of illumination.

LED on Dibond (backlighting)

The main advantage of LED on Dibond is that the fabric frame can be extremely slim. The LED system is pre-mounted onto an ACM panel and illuminates the textile print from behind. Regardless of the frame size, you always have even light distribution and higher light output. Colour temperatures of 3000, 4000, or 6500 Kelvin are possible, and the light is also dimmable by remote control or can be DALI integrated. This is the solution for all sized frames where high lighting standards are required.

LED on individual bars (backlighting)

LED mounted this way offers perfect illumination in all cases. The textile print is illuminated from the back, just like with LED on ACM panel, but because the LEDs are mounted on individual bars, the total frame can still be shipped as a compact package. Additionally, this LED technology allows for the illumination of extremely large frames. Both single and double-sided; 120 to 200mm deep. If you really want to make an impact, this is the solution.

Curved LED lightbox

Want something truly unique? Consider a curved LED lightbox. A fabric frame with a curve adds another dimension. They are available in various shapes (circle, cylinder, and curved) and in both single and double-sided versions.

Personalise your fabric frame

Many of EFKA’s aluminum profi les are available in three standard colours: black, silver, and white. However, any RAL colour can be produced on request, ensuring the fabric frame perfectly matches the colours of an interior or brand. Additionally, a fabric frame can be provided with cut-outs, for instance, if there are obstacles like pipes or sockets in the way. In short, the possibilities for personalising (illuminated) fabric frames are almost endless, making them a fl exible choice for any space.
