Fokina has become the fi rst company in Germany to invest in Fujifi lm’s Acuity Ultra Hybrid LED printer. The printer has proven to be a game-changer for Fokina, delivering unparalleled versatility and reliability, and giving the company the capability to take on more jobs than ever. Sven Breiter, CEO of Fokina, said: “Fujifi lm’s Acuity Ultra Hybrid LED printer has truly revolutionised our productivity and has allowed us to achieve new heights in terms of quality and effi ciency. This machine was the best choice to solve our business’s daily challenges.” Two Mimaki industrial UV printers sit at the heart of Skelmersdale-based sign maker, Origin Sign Co’s kit list and are allowing the business to target new markets as it expands its operation with new applications and products. These printers are the Mimaki JFX200-2513EX and UCJV300-160. PVL UK has installed the new HP Latex 800W printer at its offi ce in West Sussex. Since purchasing, the company has advanced its carbon reduction strategy and enabled it to offer a more sustainable service to customers. Craig Berresford, MD, said: “The new printer is comfortably doing the job of two of the other machines in the print department, opening at least 65% capacity in the area.” Swedish provider of high-end packaging solutions, Kartongbolaget, has invested in a Fujifi lm Jet Press 750S. The Jet Press 750S aligns perfectly with Kartongbolaget’s vision of offering premium packaging with enhanced environmental benefi ts. The investment ensures the packaging provider remain at the forefront of the industry, providing clients with exceptional quality and timely solutions. Spanish printing giant Oedim has invested in one Acuity Ultra Hybrid LED and two 5m super wide Acuity Ultra R2 printers from Fujifi lm. The printer now has 17 wide format platforms acquired from Fujifi lm alone.
First UK installation of the new Agfa Anapurna Ciervo engine at Freestyle Designs

reestyle Designs in Bath has become the fi rst UK customer of the new Agfa Anapurna Ciervo H3200 print engine. The company’s investment secures it as an Agfa Beta site, receiving additional technical support that will help rigorously test the fl exibility and commercial benefi ts of this powerful new machine. fi rst saw the new Anapurna Ciervo machine under a Non-Disclosure Agreement in late 2023.
He said: “After conducting thorough research and considering various options, we narrowed our choices down to EFI and Agfa. Ultimately, we went with the new Agfa Anapurna Ciervo because it was
faster, used less ink, and we were already familiar with the Agfa system. We were also impressed by the quality, perfect for some of our detailed POS work, which could still be produced at speed.” The new Anapurna Ciervo H3200 is a versatile hybrid wide format inkjet printer. It is designed with a 3.2m print width to handle a wide range of rigid and roll media for indoor and outdoor applications. Its productivity is enhanced through effi cient continuous board feeding and the ability to print on multiple boards, up to four simultaneously.
Freestyle Designs made a total investment of £200k in the latest Agfa engine, and Mr Godridge has confi rmed it has greatly improved their operations.

Impact Sign Solutions purchases Roland TrueVIS VG3-640 from QPS

n May, Impact Sign Solutions purchased a Roland TrueVIS VG3-640 large format eco-solvent inkjet printer/ cutter from Quality Print Services (QPS). The purchase was made with the aim of speeding up production and boosting output quality.
Director and print manager of Impact, Susan Stevens, said: “We like Roland printers and the trade-in deal QPS offered us on the new machine was very attractive.
“It is faster, and the quality is better. We won’t necessarily be targeting new markets with the machine, but it does help us to keep up with the workload on our current service offering.” The TrueVIS VG3-640 replaced the Soljet Pro III XC-540 model.

The Buckinghamshire-based company has been running several Roland printers including a Soljet Pro 4 XR-640, a VersaUV LEF-20 and a Soljet Pro III XC-540, as well as an Océ Arizona and an HP DesignJet Z6200.
Impact Sign Solutions offers a wide range of sign making services, including outdoor signs and vehicle graphics.
