People News CMYUK appoints new sales manager C


hris Martin has been promoted to the role of sales manager (equipment) at CMYUK, where he will initially oversee the business development and operations side of the business, focusing on optimising sales processes and infrastructure to further enhance CMYUK’s revenue generation. Mr Martin joined the company in 2022 as a senior digital sales consultant. Mr Martin said: “I’m incredibly honoured and excited to step into the role of sales manager at CMYUK. The trust and confidence placed in me by our leadership team means a great deal, and I’m eager to embrace


this new challenge. I am truly excited about the opportunity to contribute to the growth and continued success of CMYUK, and I look forward to the journey ahead with enthusiasm and determination.”


In other news, Adam Booth, former digital wide format specialist and partner at R A Smart, has joined CMYUK as a senior digital sales consultant. Reporting directly to Mr Martin, CMYUK’s sales manager (equipment), Mr Booth will play a key role across the company’s entire print production portfolio that includes world class technologies from EFI, Canon, Mimaki, and JWEI.

EDO – Large Format Solutions has appointed Jessica Shorten-Hood as its new business development manager for hardware.


Ms Shorten-Hood joined SEDO from Exertis UK, where she was a product manager for Brother, OKI, and Epson large format printers.


Ms Shorten-Hood said: “I am thrilled to be part of SEDO.


“My role is to assist customers in new markets in finding the best solutions for their businesses, whether that involves adopting new technology, expanding their capacity, or upgrading their machines.


“I am also dedicated to helping customers bring print in-house where they would typically outsource.”


In other news, Marco Crow has joined SEDO as the sales executive for both hardware and consumables. Mr Crow said about his role: “My job is to manage and develop our existing customer base, who currently order print work and also inks and materials from us.”

Soyang Europe appoints senior hardware development manager amien Martin has been


appointed to the role of hardware development manager at Soyang


Hardware.


In his new role, Mr Martin will focus on hardware sales, connecting with and visiting customers across the UK to help them identify the most effective wide format print solutions for their businesses.


This will include hosting live machine demonstrations at Soyang Hardware’s specialist facilities in Accrington and Cambridge.

January 2019, working in a hardware sales role supplying both roll-to-roll and flatbed printers, alongside other wide format equipment.


Prior to his time in print, Mr Martin spent time working in business development, education, and even had a spell as the landlord of a local pub in Shropshire.
