n a groundbreaking move set to elevate the sign industry to new heights, Datateam Business Media is thrilled to announce the launch of
a prestigious awards ceremony dedicated to celebrating excellence within this vibrant sector. This initiative follows our strategic acquisition of Sign & Digital UK last year, as well as our recent acquisition of Sign Update and Image Reports. These acquisitions mark a significant milestone in our mission to provide comprehensive market access and support to manufacturers and suppliers in the sign and visual communications industry. The Sign Industry Awards will celebrate excellence in the visual communications sector, honouring past achievements, present innovations, and future advancements. Hosted by Sign Update and SDUK, the awards recognise outstanding suppliers, sign makers, and individual traders in sign making, digital printing and visual communications.
HOW DOES IT WORK? Our ethos is simple: Your Industry, Your Choice. The process is broken down into three simple stages, giving the industry a say, all the way through.
STAGE 1: Nominations & Entries Companies and individuals are invited to nominate deserving candidates or enter themselves across various categories.
This stage is crucial for identifying the top talents and innovations that merit recognition.
STAGE 2: The Vote Once nominations are collected, the broader industry community is called upon to vote for their favourites. This democratic approach ensures that those who make a significant impact receive due recognition from their peers.
STAGE 3: Judging
The final stage involves a panel of expert judges who carefully review the top candidates from the voting phase.
The judges evaluate each finalist based on
predefined criteria to ensure fairness and objectivity, ultimately deciding the winners in each category.
