Fujifilm presents new-look issue of Women4Women magazine

n June, Fujifi lm presented the latest issue of Women4Women magazine to honour women in the print and graphic industries, which featured a new tagline. More than 20 women from all over the world, from Australia to the UK, shared their stories and experiences within the industry.


In line with the company’s new corporate purpose ‘Giving our world more smiles’, the magazine has been given a new tagline, ‘Women changing the world, one smile at a time’, emphasising issues such as diversity, equality and inclusion. Fujifi lm Europe president, Yoshiki

Women4Women is a concrete example that testifi es to the path we have taken towards diversity, equity and inclusion.” Luana Porfi do, European head of corporate communication and ESG management, added: “The stories we have collected in this new issue are all about a challenge. A challenge that has been quietly but not yet fully recognised, one that sees women and machines progressing and evolving together, demonstrating that technology, in this case applied to the printing industry, is not a men-only activity.”


The magazine was printed live at drupa 2024 on the Jet Press 1160CFG.


Sign Trade Supplies invests in electric forklift technology S


ign Trade Supplies has announced its investment in a Combi-CBE Multi-Directional forklift at its Sittingbourne warehouse. Garrick Dartnell, head of marketing for Sign Trade Supplies, said: “The new forklift is ideal for handling stock, allowing us to store, sort, and distribute items faster and more accurately.


“It is also an electric machine, replacing our previous diesel forklift, which helps improve air quality and working conditions in the warehouse, as well as being a much greener option.”

Mr Dartnell added: “We love our new forklift and have already seen a


massive improvement in the accuracy, speed, and safety of our warehouse logistics. We already have one of the industry’s highest success rates for on-time, accurate deliveries. Thanks to our new forklift, we are improving this even further while also adding better environmental credentials.” The Combi-CBE features a counterbalanced forklift, side loader, and independent control of the front and rear drive wheels. It also includes internationally patented electric traction technology, allowing for individual control of both front and rear drive wheels.
