and assessed eight stores across Manchester


This store, established in 1989, has free parking available outside of its showroom, and it will deliver to customers within a 50-mile radius. Inside the store, I was approached by Mike, who was sitting at a desk. He asked if he could help me and encouraged me to take a seat. I explained what I was looking for and Mike asked if I was looking for a freestanding or integrated model, and I said a freestanding model would be ideal. Mike visited the Euronics website and presented a 14-place Bosch model


(SMS2HVW67G), which was priced at £449. He said the dishwasher has five cycles and four temperature settings, and the ExtraDry feature ensures dishes are dry enough to go straight back in the cupboard.


Mike asked me if I’d like to have the dishwasher delivered and installed and said that would take the price to £500. He concluded his presentation by telling me that I could have the appliance delivered and installed in the next couple of days, if he ordered it there and then.

Mike used the Euronics website well and telling me I could have the product in just 48 hours was a great attempt to close the sale; the store was well presented.
