Polti has been transforming the floorcare category for decades. Beverley Martin, Business Development Manager at Polti, speaks to ERT about how its current lineup matches the demands of today’s consumers.

olti has been transforming household cleaning since its inception in 1978. Renowned for its innovative products such as the Polti Vaporella—the first domestic iron with a boiler—and the

The Polti Vaporetto Pro 8X Eco Plus Steam Cleaner is particularly versatile, as it can be used on a variety of different surfaces thanks to the nine included accessories. With 1900W of power, it is ideal for tackling deeper cleaning tasks such as cooktops, floor grouting, windows, sanitary ware, or car wheels, ensuring high performance. “The Polti Vaporetto Pro 8X Eco Plus offers high performance with unlimited autonomy for


continuous and uninterrupted cleaning,” Ms Martin explains. “With its turbo steam function and adjustable steam output of up to 115g/min, it effectively cleans using water, temperature, and pressure, eliminating grease and dirt from every corner of the home.” This model features an out-of-water signal and a boiler tank that can be refilled at any time using tap water, simplifying the cleaning experience. It also offers a six-minute heat-up time and an 8m operating reach. Tests conducted by independent laboratories confirm that Polti Vaporetto kills and eliminates 99.99 per cent of viruses, germs, and bacteria. With the ECO function, users can reduce water consumption by 41 per cent and energy consumption by 51 per cent compared to its MAX function, providing a sustainable yet high- performance solution. “This allows users to limit consumption while maintaining powerful cleaning results, making it a conscious choice for those seeking eco-friendly solutions,” Ms Martin adds. By eliminating the need for traditional chemical detergents, the Vaporetto Pro 8X Eco Plus helps prevent water pollution, protects ecosystems, and preserves the shine and durability of furniture, floors, and other materials while also providing economic savings. Suitable for allergy sufferers, it has obtained the seal of approval from the British Allergy Foundation. The Vaporflexi brush ensures excellent steam delivery and even distribution over the entire cloth. The cloth can be applied and removed easily without using hands, combining convenience with high cleaning performance.
