ver since the air fryer takeover of kitchens across the UK during the pandemic, counter-top cooking appliances have seen a surge in demand across the entire sector.

The tricky bit is to find the right product to suit your consumers because, as we know, a happy customer is one that is more likely to return. Smeg has a large range of some of the

most iconic appliances in the SDA cooking category; its electric hand mixer is one of its most popular smaller appliances. It has a 50’s style aesthetic and your consumers can choose from Smeg’s unmistakable colour options that they can match up with other appliances whilst benefiting from the convenient accessories too.

Anna Batten, Product Manager at Smeg,

explains: “Induction technology is still the most popular hob choice for our consumers when considering speed, cooking performance and safety. Available in a variety of aesthetics, colours and sizes, consumers have the opportunity to choose the perfect AREA induction hob for their kitchen design that meets their personal requirements.” Smeg’s MOE34CXIUK freestanding

microwave has a universal stainless-steel design which allows it to blend into any kitchen design and it also provides your consumers with quick and easy cooking options. Ms Batten says: “We also offer our Smeg AREA induction hobs which can be seamlessly integrated into any kitchen style. Along with a colourful display and high resolution seven- inch TFT controls that offer a variety of customisable functions, the Follow Pot and Auto-Pot functions provide the ultimate ease and convenience for cooking at home.” It has also revealed the release of its new portable induction hob which it says will be available this Summer.

“Alongside this with an unmistakable design, our HMF01 electric hand mixer features a backlit LED display, nine speed settings, and non-slip feet to allow the mixer to rest after use,” she adds.

They can choose from two wire whisks, for whipped cream, sauces or egg whites; two Optimus whisks, ideal for biscuits and cake bases; and two dough hooks to create the perfect pizza or bread. The accessories come in a personalised Smeg fabric case so they can be stored in style.”

Smeg’s Classic matte black collection.

The brand has recently released its new induction hob that joins its Classic matte black collection. It is available in 60cm, 80cm and 90cm dimensions, consumers can choose between ultra-low or fully flushed to perfectly suit the desires of your consumers. Ms Batten explains that the key is to display all the unique selling points of its products so it creates a seamless shopping experience for the consumer.

“It is also about understanding the

consumers’ needs and tailoring cooking products to suit their requirements,” she adds. “The aim is to enhance the consumers experience at home; therefore, we need to identify key features and design aesthetics that would suit the individual consumers. We want consumers to feel at ease and confident in their appliances.”
