vacuum cleaner in 1978. This is regarded as the template upon which most uprights are now based. We introduced many features which are now common on vacuum cleaners like the integrated hose, direct-drive toothed belts and electrostatic micro filters. Light in weight, durable and reliable, they rapidly became the world’s bestselling professional uprights. A position which we still hold today. SEBO (UK) Ltd was formed in 1981 and has successfully grown to be a significant player in the UK vacuum cleaner market. In 1991, we started in the retail market with the Automatic X1 upright. This machine introduced a sensor-controlled brush height adjustment for optimum cleaning performance, which remains a technology unique to us. Today, we offer a comprehensive range of machines, in cylinder
and upright format, for every vacuuming need. We are a family business with real care for the design and manufacture of our products, winning many accolades from consumer magazines such as Good Housekeeping, Ideal Homes, and many others for quality and performance. Based on over 2000 verified reviews, we have proudly achieved the Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award in 2024. All our vacuum cleaners are of anti-allergy design, indeed a SEBO machine was the first vacuum cleaner to be endorsed by the British Allergy Foundation for its overall anti- allergy design as opposed to just its filtration. recyclable, and durable. However, over years of use, parts can wear out. We are proud to be able to offer replacement parts, even for models we no longer produce. Rather than being thrown away, an old SEBO can continue working. Eventually, when it does come to the end of its life, each component is marked with the product composition for recycling. As a family business, we are proud to be supporting the Pink Ribbon Foundation with our collection of Pink Ribbon vacuum cleaners. This is a cause very close to us and for each machine sold from our Pink Ribbon Collection SEBO UK will donate to the Foundation to help raise funds for those affected by breast cancer.
