LANDSCAPING
Decorative aggregates are included in innovative boxes on top of dsplay units, whihc hold a mixture of product samples and lifestyle images of products in-situ. McTaggart says this allows customers to get close to the aggregates, without having to bend down to pick them up, as they would if they were placed on the ground. “Decorative aggregates can be quite tactile, and customers like to be able to hold them in their
hands.The way we’ve displayed
them also means they are easy to swap out as ranges or fashions change.
“The ground slopes away towards the road slightly, but we have designed it in such a way, with the differnt textures and patterns, that you don’t notice it. We have managed to get a huge variety of styles, colours and textures into the space, and it’s working really well.” The aim is to use the display to bring in more customers to the branch, who will be attracted by the landscaping offer. n
