In early 2022, Robert Price extended its service across the border after acquiring Hereford based merchant Tudors Building Supplies. Tudors has four separate branches; a builders’ merchants, roofing supplies stockist, landscaping materials supplier and a kitchen bathroom & home specialist. Tudors will continue

trading under the Tudors brand for the foreseeable future. At the end of 2022, the company opened a Sustainable Energy Centre at the Newport branch, in partnership with Daikin and a number of manfacturers, to help people across Wales make a confident and successful transition to sustainable home heating. The centre will also house a heat pump training centre to help the region’s plumbing and heating installers diversify into renewable heating solutions.

Although it is now a bathroom & kitchen specialist and plumbers merchant, Robert Pochin was founded as an ironmongers on Granby Street, Leicester in 1860 and has spent the last 160 years expanding both organically and via acquisition.
In the last three years, it has acquired Mike Lodge Plumbing and Heating Merchant, opened branches in Newark , Arnold, Cannock, Derby and Lincoln and acquired NS Plumbing and Heating Supplies and Martin & Partner of Northampton.
