Aquababies Global
Baby and toddler swim firsts Due to the successful international expansion of the Aquababies franchise network during 2017, it was rebranded as Aquababies Global. Founder and international swim consultant Julie-Ann James is a pioneer in baby swimming, teaching for 30 years, and introduced the first Aquababies swimming programme to the UK in 1991. As Aquababies continues to expand both in the UK and internationally, it’s bringing to the market new, innovative concepts such as parent and baby spa – a programme based on exercises with sensory movements – with the additional benefit of creating affordable initiatives to build your own pool or spa.
Parent and baby spa: combining experiences into a single programme As baby swimming pioneers, Aquababies Global’s experience of developing and delivering successful programmes for the past 30 years has given them unique insight into this market. Parents are continually commenting
how they are getting a workout during their Aquababies classes – an unexpected bonus that has also led to the creation of parent and baby aqua (PABA), which was successfully launched by a number of existing
franchisees during 2017. This is being followed with ongoing classes, like yoga, swimba and Bollywood, creating additional revenue streams for baby swimming companies. Julie-Ann and her team continually
evaluate Aquababies’ swimming programmes with a desire to be the best in the sector. Through this process, she began to look at how they could incorporate more structured exercise and sensory methods into baby swimming classes, and so parent and baby spa was born. The course has been piloted over six months with several groups of parents, with positive results. It showed babies becoming confident in the water and learning the foundations of swimming, while parents are being taken through a carefully structured exercise plan.
Unique franchise opportunity The world’s first aqua parent and baby spa concept is a relaxing programme where both parent and child bond together. It combines PABA yoga movements and Aquababies swimming techniques, while the child enjoys a sensory experience with jets of bubbles, colourful lights, music and, especially, cuddles from parents. This new, innovative programme provides
an exciting franchise opportunity. Aquababies Global can provide you with your very own spa pool and an extensive training course to enable you to run a unique and rewarding business.
Take control: build your own pool In some regions, there is limited pool space preventing some baby swim businesses from developing. By investing in an Aquababies Global franchise you have the ability to turn your dream business into a reality. Building your own bespoke pool is affordable, and easier to maintain than you might think. It is a smart and secure investment, which will provide countless returns. Working closely with our suppliers,
Aquababies can source your ideal location and, based on your business requirements, design a swimming pool to suit your needs, as well as help with applying for the necessary permits.
A spa pool is a great option: small enough
to run small classes while providing a private space for parents who want exclusivity. The parent and baby spa programme is unique and original, bringing new franchise business opportunities to anyone who has an interest in baby and toddler swimming.
