new website for the UK, bringing it up to date, with a modern, clean feel. It’s also mobile responsive and easier to navigate. Now with over 140 clubs open across the UK


and over 3,800 clubs in 30 countries, it won’t be long before we can boast four million members across the network. We are also proud to be the only fitness


operator with our own dedicated Anytime Workouts app, available exclusively to members. The app gives members access to over 1,100 workouts from their phone and has so far achieved 30,000 downloads in just four months.


What training and support do Anytime Fitness franchisees receive? We offer support and training from the beginning, including helping out with the search for premises and offering access to experienced construction companies. You’ll be given a franchise performance coach, who will walk franchisees through all aspects of the company, with regular support calls and visits. Some franchisees work with each other in partnership and can call on each other for support. If franchisees follow the processes, get fully involved and be the personality behind the brand, then there’s no reason why they can’t achieve success.


Do franchisees need a background in the fitness industry? Not at all, just like how a franchisee of a café


doesn’t need a background in growing coffee beans. The important thing to remember is the principle of serving the customer. As long as you understand how people would like to be looked after, then all you need to hand are your management and leadership skills.


Why should 2018 be the year people invest in an Anytime Fitness franchise? There are a lot of things happening over the next 12 months that will give people no choice but to consider Anytime Fitness. We have an ambitious but achievable


target to reach 400 clubs by 2020, and we plan to reach at least 190 clubs by the end of 2018. As a globally recognisable brand with personality at the heart of its business model, Anytime Fitness cares about its members, which is reflected on every level of the business. Studies continue to show that the health and fitness industry is one to invest in. The industry has enjoyed a strong year in 2017 and market value increased to £4.7billion – an all-time high. than likely to hit several milestones in 2018. The market is set to see the number of gyms rise to over 7,000 for the first time, while total membership levels could swell to over 10 million, resulting in market value reaching £5billion.
