She says: “I decided to become a Get Ahead franchisee as I wanted to expand my own business. The franchise gives me the support, knowledge and insight of a successful business owner who has been there, done that, allowing me to focus on tried-and-tested methods for growing my business.”

Carrie is also busy recruiting new virtual assistants to work in her team. She adds: “I have already welcomed a marketing specialist and an administration specialist on board, so we are ready to provide fi rst-class services for our clients. We will be able to provide the full range of

key business support services, including a virtual PA and admin, telephone answering, event management, social media, PR, bookkeeping, marketing strategy and business development.” Get Ahead VA was founded in 2010

Comment Why should I invest in a management franchise?

Management franchises are great because they can provide you with the opportunity to strike a good work-life balance while maintaining a very good income. Nothing in life is easy, however, and so it is important to ensure that if you are looking at a management franchise you join a franchisor with a good track record in supporting its franchisees. If you are currently self-employed or in full-time employment and seeking a better life for you and your family to get out of the rat race, then investing in a management franchise could indeed be the option for you.

Of course, a management franchise,

like any business, is still full on. If you choose a franchise that goes over and beyond to help its franchisees, however, then it can be a great step into business.

Some franchisors off er a full service, such as invoicing, ongoing training, generation of sales, operational support and the option to grow further should you so wish.

If you consider a franchise that can

provide this level of support then you will have the business you have always dreamed of, with time for your family and, most importantly, time for yourself, obtaining that work-life balance you were looking for.
