Boots Stonehaven has demonstrated strong clinical leadership and sustained community impact over the past year. With both base pharmacists qualified as Independent Prescribers, the pharmacy delivers NHS Pharmacy First Plus services across all opening hours, supporting ear, chest and throat assessments while maintaining close collaboration with the local GP practice. The introduction of a free delivery service has strengthened support for housebound and palliative patients. Recognition as the first Boots store in Grampian to achieve the Gold Standard Pharmacy Award reflects its commitment to public health campaigns, workforce development and inter-professional partnership, positioning the pharmacy as a trusted clinical hub within the community.

BOOTS STONEHAVEN

Bruntsfield Pharmacy has undergone transformative growth, evolving into a high-performing, patient- centred healthcare hub. Since reopening in 2023, the pharmacy has expanded clinical capacity, introduced comprehensive private and NHS services and delivered measurable commercial growth, including significant increases in NHS income and overall turnover. Over 5,000 vaccinations were administered in 2025, alongside more than 400 Health-MOT screenings identifying patients at cardiovascular risk. Workflow redesign, digital integration and additional consultation space have enabled sustained expansion without compromising safety. National award recognition and strong community engagement further evidence its leadership in advancing modern, accessible community pharmacy practice.
