Open to all members of the pharmacy team excluding pharmacists, the award honours individuals whose contribution goes above and beyond their role.
It celebrates those whose daily commitment strengthens patient care, supports colleagues and upholds the highest standards of service within their pharmacy.
This category shines a spotlight on those who ensure services run smoothly, patients feel supported and colleagues feel valued. Judges look for clear evidence of exceptional commitment, teamwork and a positive influence within the pharmacy. Nominees may demonstrate excellence through operational leadership, service improvement, mentoring colleagues, patient care or their ability to respond calmly and effectively under pressure.
Importantly, the award acknowledges the often unsung heroes of the profession. It celebrates those who consistently enhance patient experience, strengthen team morale and contribute to the wider success of the pharmacy and the community

Last year’s winner, Ashley Mulrine of Rowlands Pharmacy in Springburn, was recognised for her dedication to patients and colleagues alike.
Progressing her professional qualifications while supporting daily operations, Ashley strengthened team processes and maintained safe access to medicines during challenging periods. She was also commended for her calm and compassionate response during a medical emergency in the pharmacy.
Her colleagues describe her as the steady presence behind the counter, someone who anticipates challenges, supports others without hesitation and consistently brings positivity to the workplace. The
environment she helps create encourages teamwork, confidence and pride in the care delivered to every patient.
The Team Member of the Year Award highlights the people whose dedication often happens quietly but whose influence is felt across the whole pharmacy.
By recognising these individuals the awards celebrate professionalism, compassion and teamwork that underpin the delivery of community pharmacy services.
