Last year’s winner, Kinwell Pharmacy, exemplified this ethos through its pioneering digital Quick Care platform.
Developed in-house, the system enabled patients to access Pharmacy First services discreetly via a user-friendly digital interface, integrated directly with the pharmacy’s PMR.
The result was a streamlined consultation process, improved governance and a significant reduction in consultation time. Kinwell reported increased service uptake, improved patient engagement and stronger operational control, allowing pharmacists to redirect time towards higher value clinical care.
Kinwell’s success demonstrated how independent pharmacies can blend automation, data analytics and patient centred design to create a modern model of community care.
