T e handles were detailed, then the rope looms added and the completed oars fi nished with a light stain. I secured the boat to its cradle using the eyebolts mounted there many months previously. Following Boudriot’s monograph, two spare topmasts and two long replacement spars sit alongside of the boat and between the breaks of the railings on the foredeck and quarterdeck. (Figure 32)
