necessary. (Figure 2, upper right) Much of this line was only available in white, so it was colored using wood stains of diff erent hues. I simply ran it through a jar of stain and wiped off the excess with a paper towel. (Figure 2, lower leſt )


As for rigging tools, I fi nd that almost all tasks can be accomplished with medical-style tweezers with angled tips. T e only other essential tool for me is a sharp cuticle trimmer (items from the cosmetics department work very well), which I use to make all cuts of the rigging line. (Figure 2, lower right)

For blocks I used the best commercially available items (from a company no longer in business), which have very accurate shapes but only one hole to indicate where the sheave would be. T ey came in sizes from 9-millimeter (scale 13-inch) triple blocks
