SUGGESTED ABLE BODIED PASSENGER (ABP) BRIEFING (LAND)
DOOR
“You will only do this if I am incapacitated or I command you to do it. Before you do anything I want you to look out this window to make sure there isn’t anything dangerous outside like fire or obstruction. If there is danger then I want you to block this exit and direct the passengers to another exit.”
Repeat back to me
“If the DOOR exit is safe I want you to open the forward door. Please come with me while I show you how to operate it. To operate the door move the handle and push the stairs out. Once the stairs are extended call the passengers to you and have them hurry down the stairs and get away from the airplane. Make sure they stay together.”

OVER WING EXIT

If the WINDOW exit is safe I want you to open the exit. Please come with me while I show you how to operate it. To operate the OWE pull the handle and place the window exit inside the cabin. Put it out of the way, call the passengers to you and have them exit out the window LEG, BODY, LEG or at the credenza “SIT HERE, LEGS OUT, ROLL OVER, PUSH OUT” and slide off the wing. Make sure they get away from the airplane and they stay together.”
